In our most recent visit with the family, Angelica told us that her daughter who has been living with them has decided to go to the US in the hopes of finding work to support her kids. She will take her oldest child with her and leave the baby behind for Angelica to take care of. While we don’t agree with this decision, we advised them to ask God for wisdom as He knows what is best for us.

Chus continues to have work at the cement factory. As the rainy season comes to an end in Guatemala, the machines don’t break down as much, which allows him to work more days than not. Jeremias has continued to remain in his stance that he would rather work than continue his studies.
