Walter Giron

President
Walter has been an integral part of the ministry since its inception.  He is an electrician by trade and a pastor by calling.  His always encouraging words of faith and steadfast duty to serving and loving others well has alway made him to be a joy to be around. Aside from his electrician and pastoral experience, he also worked as Guatemalan Regional Director of a ministry that installed and provided water filtration systems around the country.  He decided to walk away from that job, despite its financial provisions, because it called him away from home too much.

Francisco Brito

Vice President
Francisco has worked all his life as a registered nurse.  Currently he works in the municipality of Villa Nueva in its mobile unit in Linda Vista.  He has a huge heart for helping others and has much experience not only with medical aid, but also helping those in most need through his church and his contact with them through his work.

Jorge Cerritos Jr.

Secretary
Jorge is very involved with the community.  He too is a pastor and leads City of Refuge Church, of which we have been connected since we started working in Villa Nueva and specifically Linda Vista.  He and his family have been serving in this area for decades and have been an instrumental help in getting the ministry off the ground. Aside from leading the local church, he also works with another ministry (that pays him and supports his family) that serves families in rural villages close to the city.

Fredy Lopez

Fredy is a deacon in City of Refuge church.  A recovered alcoholic, he focuses his serving on those who are recovering from or struggling with alcohol or drug addiction. Fredy also is a very capable contractor and has helped us with many projects in the community to repair and build homes for those who can’t afford it.
