Nancy is Jackeline’s sister.  She is a nurse and up until 2023, worked at a hospital in Guatemala City.  There was an administrative change imposed by the government and in the paperwork transfer, they lost Nancy’s nurse certification…so she lost her job.  Not only did she lose her job, but also her ability to work elsewhere as a nurse.  The only way she can get it back is if she returns to school and does it all over again!

We began helping Nancy in order to make sure her two little girls, Dulce and Maria, continue in their own studies.  It has been a frustrating battle to get her paperwork sorted out with the government with the hopes of getting her job back or at the very least, be able to work again as a nurse.

The two girls are very astute and have been doing very well in school!
