We recently heard that Jackeline had to be rushed to the hospital a few weeks ago because she was having some severe pain in her lower abdomen. We she arrived at the hospital the doctors did some exams and found that her appendix was very close to exploding. Praise the Lord they were able to operate in time and remove the appendix before anything serious happened.

Jackeline is currently in the process of recuperating from this surgery. One of the struggles she has had is getting the children to school because normally she takes them but she is unable to do that right now. A mother of one of the children with who Jackeline’s children attend school offered to help and take the children for awhile but she is now unable to do it. Through your support, Servants was able to pay for a bus service to take the children to and from school for a month to help Jackeline during this time of recuperation.

Alejandra and Jairo are very happy in the new school they are attending this year. They have a lot of homework but enjoy doing it and they like their teachers and are making new friends. One of the advantages of this new school is that they have support for children who struggle with learning. Alejandra and Jairo have been receiving this support over the last few months and it is helping them greatly with their studies.

Please continue to pray for the children to do well in school and for Jackenline to be completely healed from her surgery. Jackeline also asks that we would continue to pray for her to find a job. She has been looking for a job for 9 months but has had many challenges with her health issues so it has been difficult for her. She thanks God for continuing to take care of her and her children, for her family that is there to continue to support them during this time, and for the support and prayers she receives through all of us from Servants. Thank you for continuing to be a part of this team of Servants who is demonstrating the love of Jesus to this precious family.
