Awhile ago some of our missionaries stopped by to visit the Jimenez family and we found Rosalina (the mother) absent along with 2 of the boys from the family. Jorge (the father) was home with the other 2 boys and sadly we found Jorge drunk and very upset. At that time he explained to us that Rosalina had decided to leave him and that she was going to stay with her family for awhile but was leaving the 3 older boys with him so that they could continue their schooling. Our missionaries made sure the boys had eaten and were safe and then they sat down and tried to talk with and encourage Jorge.

As we have continue to visit them and pray with them through this difficult time we found out that the owner of their land is planning on selling it and they now need to find another place to live. Jorge has another place that they can move to with some family but it will be about a 20 minute walk for the boys to and from school every day.

This has been an added difficulty on the family and they truly need your prayers. Please pray for Jorge and Rosalina to reconcile in their relationship and reunite. Please pray for God to heal Jorge from his drinking and to help him to be the husband and father that the family needs. Please pray for the boys and how these situations may be affecting them. Please also pray for them to find another place to live that they are able to afford and that is close to the school for the boys. Most importantly please pray for Jesus to touch all of their hearts and open them up to His grace, healing, and love.
