Last week one of Aminta’s daughters-in-law gave birth to a health baby boy.  The family is overjoyed at this new blessing and we from Servants will share pictures soon.  However, in this joyous time there has come a trial.  Linda, the baby’s mother, has developed an infection from the C-section they gave her.  She was taken back to the hospital this week and surgery was done a few days ago to try to heal this infection.  There was a concern that something might have gotten left inside her during the operation.

Please pray for healing for Linda from her surgery and that this infection would completely leave her body.  Please also pray for the new baby who has to be away from his mom so early in his life.  This is a very difficult trial for the family as the most common (an inexpensive) way of feeding a baby in Guatemala is breast feeding because formula is so expensive and breast feeding is healthier for the baby.  However, with Linda having to be away from the baby they are facing the challenge of figuring out how to get the baby fed regularly.  Please continue to pray for this entire family.  We will post an update as soon as we have more information.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support of this family!!
