We are so happy to write and tell you that Jackeline has recently found a new job.  This is such a blessing as she has been without a job for almost a year and this job will allow her to better care for her children.  From what she has told us Jackeline seems to like her new job and is thankful for this blessing.  Thank you to all who prayed for this provision for the Chinchilla family.  Please continue to pray as Jackeline has had to miss some work recently because she had an infection in her kidneys caused by some kidney stones she had about a month ago. She has had some testing and has had to miss work to have these tests done and her bosses are starting to get frustrated with this.  Jackeline is currently being treated for this infection and tomorrow she will go to the doctor to find out if the medicine is working or if she needs to be hospitalized for stronger treatment.

The kids continue to do well in school and are excited to wrap up the school in year in October.  They believe they will both pass the year which is exciting news for everyone.  Jairo told us when we visited that he believes his grades will be higher than Alejandra’s but Alejandra strongly disagreed.  It is cute to see them interact and pick on each other like brothers and sisters do.

With all this good news does come some sad news.  We wrote back in November about Jackeline’s mom’s health declining and over the last few months they found out that her mother has cancer of her spine.  She is having a lot of pain and struggles with this and finds it hard to even get out of bed to go to the bathroom.  She is currently having some tests done to see if she is strong enough to withstand chemotherapy because of her chronic kidney disease.

Please continue to pray for healing for Jackeline’s mom, Sandra.  This family has already dealt with so much loss and the kids have gotten so much closer to Sandra since Jackeline and the children moved in with Jackeline’s parents a little over 2 years ago.  To lose another person who is so close to them would be a great heartache for them.

Please also pray for Jackeline to continue to do well at her job and for the children to finish this school year with excellence.
