Hello everyone,

We wanted to give you a quick update on Pedro’s scheduled procedure and how it went on the 19th.  During his visit with the surgeon, the surgeon did not agree with the diagnosis of the doctor that referred him.  So, the surgeon took another ultrasound and determined that the cause of his pain is not a cyst in the hip, but a sack that is retaining fluid.  The surgeon prescribed him medicine to release the fluid as well as a support belt to help him with his pain during lifting and asked him to return for a follow up in a month.

Until now, he has been paying out of pocket for the tests and visits but explained to us that he doesn’t currently have the money for the medicine or belt.  So, we will be helping him in this way to make sure he can start taking his medicine as soon as possible.  Please join us in praying for him that he heals quickly and does not need surgery.
