3 days after we sent out the last update Maria was able to get her tienda reopened!  Her nephew was able to help her pay the fine that she owed, but, she was still concerned because when she went to her court hearing they told her it could take up to 2 months after she pays the fine for her tienda to be reopened.  Praise the Lord, she has a friend who works in the municipal building and they were able to move things along more quickly so that her tienda could get opened right away.

Maria is so thankful that her tienda has been reopened but is still struggling because she is not selling a lot.  She is also struggling with problems with her nerves as a result of all the stress of what happened.  She is feeling very discouraged so we keep visiting her regularly to try to encourage her with truth from God’s word and to pray with her.
