Over the past year we have been developing a relationship with Fidel and his family.  They live on the same street as the Fuentes family and as a result of our missionaries’ outreach to the community we have been able to begin getting to know more people who live there.  In hearing the story of this family and getting to know their story, we felt that it is a family that is within our scope and ability to serve as a ministry.  You can read a little about their story in their family profile

Juan, Maribel, Vilma, Cristal, and Fidel

We were able to enroll Juan (17) and Vilma (22) into middle school where they left off studying for lack of funds.  We are also currently looking into how we can help Maribel continue making tortillas in a way that doesn’t affect her health as the smoke from using firewood tends to give her lung infections.  Please join us in praying for this family as we partner with them to help them reach a more self-sustainable lifestyle!
