Oscar is moving on to middle school!  Despite his previous struggles in school, he and his mom and sister are very proud that he graduated 6th grade.  He is excited to see what adventures 7th grade brings to him.

Carmen has struggled this first year of high school.  She has been given a huge packet of homework to turn in after vacation in order to pass the year.  We are helping her work through it, as it is quite a daunting task.  Her biggest struggles are in the subjects that involve math like accounting and algebra.  She also struggled a bit with her classmates, as they seem to make fun of her and look down on her for being of a lower socio-economic class but, she has resolved to not let them get in the way of her dreams.  She has expressed a greater desire to grow closer to God and learn more about who He created her to be.

Mirna continues to sell bread from a local bread maker in the neighborhood, although some other neighbors have started to sell bread as well.  Please continue to pray for the Diaz family as they work to better their relationships with each other and God.  Pray for our ministry team as we seek the Spirit’s guidance on how to best serve them and help them grow closer to Him.
