Please celebrate with us that Olga finally got her residency!!!  It has been a long time coming and would not have been possible without your prayers and donations.  We are so happy for her that she can FINALLY begin to advance in the things she would like to do.  Her first order of business: to finish school.

Now that she has residency and an official ID card, Olga can register for adult education classes.  In January she will begin to look for and apply to classes.  Officially she stopped going to school just a couple of months short of completing second grade; however, she has since learned to read and write.  The school will first give her a placement exam to see what level her current education is equivalent to.  After that, she will enter accelerated classes where she will study and complete 2-3 grades at a time until she finishes.  “There isn’t enough money in the world to pay you guys back for all you have done for me and my family,” Olga said when we were visiting her recently.  She is eternally grateful for all your love and support!

Beverly graduated middle school this year and is working on deciding what to study for high school.  She is interested in interior design and would also like to take English classes.  In January when the schools open for registration, we will be working closely with her to determine which schools would work best for her as she would like to continue working at the printing company where she currently has a job during vacation.

Byron did well this year in school, but Kesler struggled a bit.  He has to take make-up tests on January 4th to try to make up the points he is missing.  If he passes, we will look into moving him to a different school as he has really struggled where he is at.  Both he and Olga believe a change to another school would benefit him better.

Olga and Elias report that their relationship has gotten much stronger over the past couple of months and they have been learning how to work better together, communicate more clearly and lovingly, and enjoy being together.  Please continue to pray for them not only in their marriage but also for patience and wisdom as they continue to grow in the Lord’s love.
