The Perez family recently celebrated the first year of their new addition: Pedro Alejandro’s first birthday!  We were able to share some cake with him for his special day and took some pictures to show him when he is older.

Maty is excited and nervous to be in her last year of school.  Katy continues to do well.

Pedro recently switched jobs to make a little more per day than his previous job even though the travel is a little more difficult and longer each day.  Please continue to pray for him as it has made work a little harder since he is now traveling longer to and from work via bus.  He is also working to apply himself more as a leader in the church as his passive personality makes it easier for him to fade into the background.  The pastor has encouraged him to step up and take a little more initiative, even if it seems that things are taken care of in his areas of ministry (visiting prayer team and co-leading weekly bible study).  His ultimate passion is to return to his village in Nebaj as a missionary and work to support the local church he was once involved in.  His church here in Villa Nueva wants to mentor and guide him to grow and be sent out but they would like to see more commitment and responsibility on his part before he is qualified to do so.
