Dincy is beyond happy with her new school, where she is taking the first steps to earn her education in nursing!  She has new friends and is enjoying the course work.  We really have never seen her this excited and encouraged in school.

Jairo is doing ok adjusting to his first year in middle school.  He is still in the same school, so his classmates are practically the same.  However, there has been a little of a behavioral issue as he hasn’t been completing and turning in all of his assigned homework.  We recently visited the school and left them our contact information so that they can notify us if he is misbehaving, hasn’t turned in his homework, or is absent.  We told him this afterwards and his eyes got real big, knowing that we are going to be more on top of him in his academic progress.

Ilsa was looking forward to taking more sewing classes this year but the municipality isn’t offering any new classes she hasn’t already taken.  She was undecided about what else to study so isn’t taking any more classes right now.  We try to encourage her to use her new sewing skills to earn some money and work from home but we think she is afraid it won’t go well.

Please join us in prayer for this family as we would love to see them succeed!  We pray that God would give Ilsa more guidance in the next steps to take to provide for the family, that Dincy would continue to love her studies regardless of how difficult it might get, and that Jairo would place more importance on his school work instead of playing with his friends.
