We have some exciting news to share about Aminta’s family but it doesn’t come without a bit of struggle and difficulty as well…

To start, Lidia got married! This is the gentleman she has been dating for a while now and they finally tied the knot. We celebrate their new life together.

Additionally, we were happy to hear that Jeny passed school again! We’re glad that she is showing more effort for her studies and doing what is necessary to attend and make the grade. Manuel, Aminta’s son who has been in jail for the past 10 years on false charges, is scheduled to be released in January or February of this year. However, those who were involved in his imprisonment have begun to make threats against his life. We don’t know the extent of the threats or why they were made since he did his time, but he did mention them to Aminta and she is concerned for her safety as well as the rest of the family.

Additionally, we just recently found out that Cesar and Audi have been having marital problems. Aminta has told us of her boys’ on and off again struggles with alcoholism but Cesar found out that Audi has been seeing someone on the side. This of course has been devastating for all but we know that God is more powerful than all of this brokenness. Aminta continues to trust in the Lord and intercede for all of her kids, big and small.
