Not because the rain is gone but because she has new glasses!!

Maria has been struggling with finding glasses that work for her for almost a year now. She first went to a medical mission team who gave her glasses but she realized after wearing the glasses for a few days that they didn’t help her completely and they were causing her some dizziness.

Our missionaries in Guatemala had her scheduled to go for a professional eye exam and get glasses a few months ago but then her sister passed away and Maria wasn’t feeling up to going anywhere during her time of mourning.

This past Tuesday we were able to get her another appointment and take her to the eye doctor. The doctor told us that the current prescription she has in her glasses is a little to strong for her and that is why she was having problems seeing and dizziness. She had her exam and picked out some new glasses with a proper prescription and we went back to pick them up on Saturday.

These glasses now work great and Maria is very happy with her “new eyes.”  She expressed to us how grateful she is for these glasses and all of you who help her.  What a blessing to be able to be a part of God providing better sight for this precious woman.

Woohoo! Maria can see to read again!!
