Before we get into the REALLY exciting news, we wanted to share how well Jeny has been doing.

As a result of her lack of progress, the team had decided to withdraw Jeny’s scholarship a couple years ago. For the past two years, she has worked hard to not only pay for her own schooling, but has also passed! As a result of her hard work and also in a way to help the family with Aminta’s ongoing costs in her legal battle, we will begin helping Jeny again this year as she moves into high school with a focus on secretarial work.

Additionally, Manuel has been released from prison! On October 6th he was released and is happy to be out. He still has some ongoing legal procedures to go through, but at least he is no longer confined to prison.
