With the recent struggles we have had with the Vasquez girls over the past year, we were pleasantly surprised when Silvia asked for help with her accounting class!

We always offer help for students but they rarely take us up on it. This is a good sign that Silvia really cares about her grades again. She told us we might see low grade in her accounting class because she just can’t seem to understand it all. Usually, we have to pull this information out of students after we force them to show us their report cards. This time, she volunteered it weeks. Before grades come out!

We are currently looking at math teachers we could pay for a few hours a week to sit down with her and help her understand accounting. Join us in praying that it helps and praise that Silvia has seemed to gain interest in her studies again!
