For those of you that are connected to Carmen on social media, you may have seen some surprising photos this past month.

Carmen and her boyfriend of almost 5 years had their civil ceremony and will be having their church ceremony August 12.

Mirna seemed quite happy and excited for them!

Additionally, Oscar has been doing well in school! He is in his third year of middle school and is exited to move to high school next year. They asked if the ministry would consider helping him as the costs will be higher. In the coming months we will be exploring with him and Mirna which course he wants to study and how much he is willing to put towards it. We have found that when a family is financially invested, even to some degree, in a child’s education they take it more seriously.
