During school vacation time, Roselia and Jorge have been “swapping kids,” giving everyone ample time to spend with each other.  This past week Roselia had all four boys plus her daughter, Rosa, in her one room house!  She’s loved having all the kids with her.

We’ve learned a little more about her living situation, as before she had been living with her mom but has since moved to another place.  She is living in someone else’s house rent free in return for her taking care of it.  The owners are even paying for water and electricity!  Since she does not currently have work and is caring for 4 children, she struggles to make ends meet for food.  She did tell us, however, that her mom helps occasionally with money for food, etc.  Previously, she was selling clothes with her sister and mom on the weekends but business has been slow, so they stopped for the time being.

We are unsure if Andre passed school this year and will find out in January as the school closed down for the year before we had a chance to talk to the director.  He was behind in a few classes but they may give him a chance to take makeup tests.  Anthony, the youngest boy, will be starting school next year and Kevin is excited to return to school as well.  He missed the second half of school this year because he moved in with Roselia from Jorge’s house mid-year and it was too late to transfer him.

Please pray for God to continue providing for this family, for their health, and for wisdom for our team as we try to serve them as best as possible without hurting.
