As the year goes on so does Aminta’s court proceedings.  She recently discovered that the case is being “elevated” to what Guatemala calls a “high-risk court.”  This court specializes in extortion, murder, and money laundering.  She has yet to find out when her first hearing in this new court will be, but it creates a greater level of anxiety for her and her family.  However, she continues to trust in God that He will vindicate her and His judgment is fair.

The Whole Crew!

Aminta’s and her brother, Freddy, came up with an idea to design and create hand sewn table cloths to sell and generate more income!  She was originally trying to make and sell food, but this creates a need for her to be on her feet a lot which isn’t possible for her given her complications with diabetes.  She is currently working on a budget to present to us to see how we as a ministry can help get her started with the initial materials and then she would continue buying what she needs from her profits.  Please pray for this business to be successful as she continues to fight for her family.
