In our last post we shared about a difficult situation that Roselia and her 2 boys, Andre and Anthony, were dealing with.  Over the last several months we have seen them make some great progress and receive some wonderful blessings!

At the end of last year we were waiting to find out if Andre passed his year of schooling to see how he would move forward this year.  We are pleased to share that he did pass his year and is now continuing to study in the same school.  He just got his first bimester grades and is doing very well.  He did not fail any of his classes and he tells our missionaries that he is enjoying school this year.

Roselia and the boys have moved back to the neighborhood where they were living before they moved in with Roselia’s mom.  It was quite a long trip to take Andre back and forth to school every day by public bus so Roselia started looking for a place closer to his school.  She knew this would be difficult as she was not making much at her house cleaning job and she was unsure of how they would afford a house.  The Lord provided an incredible blessing for them in that Roselia found out about some people who were looking for someone to live in and care for the house in the family’s old neighborhood.  Roselia met with the owners and they worked out a deal that Roselia and the boys can live in the house for free so that there will be someone there to take care of the house.  This was a huge blessing for Roselia and the boys!  They are living right down the street from their old house and it is very close to Andre’s school.

Please continue to pray for Roselia and her sons to see how very much the Lord loves them and wants to care for their every need, not just their material needs.  Please pray for their hearts to be opened to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior and for our missionaries to never miss opportunities to draw them closer to him.  Please also pray for Andre to continue to do well in school and for Roselia to find steady work.
