The other day Dayana shared something very special with us and asked us to make sure we share it with all of you. She wants everyone to know that she is very thankful for the help that she gets from Servants, not only for her kids to study but also for her opportunity to study to be a chef. Studying to be a chef has been a dream of hers for years and she is so thankful to finally have the opportunity to see that dream become a reality. The most exciting part is that she has done so well that she has been selected for 1 of 3 scholarships to go on to get her bachelor’s degree. The chef that teaches her said she has a lot of potential and she does great work and this is why she was chosen as one of the 3 students to receive this scholarship. Dayana is so excited for this opportunity and so thankful to God for giving her this opportunity! She told us “I know God moves people’s hearts to help me and I’m thankful to all those who have answered what God asked them to do so that I can do what God calls me to do.”
Dayana also just complete a cookbook with all of her recipes and is moving on to the next step of getting this cookbook ready to sell. This is something that several people from Servants have been helping her with and although it has taken her over a year to finish putting it together she is excited to move forward.
She also asked that we would all continue to pray often for her and her boys. Estuardo is struggling in his studies because the new school he’s attending is much harder than the last one. Andre was doing well in his classes. He really enjoys studying but he had an illness that caused him to miss 2 weeks of school and he is failing 2 classes. Please pray for the Lord to help the boys do better in their studies. She also asked that we please pray for both of the boys to return to the Lord. “It’s hard, sad and difficult, as a mother, to see my children not seeking the Lord for their lives but I know prayer is the best thing everyone can do for them.”
Thank you for all of your prayers, love, and support for Dayana and her family!
