We just discovered that Ilsa, her husband Ricardo, and their two sons have COVID. Ricardo is in the hospital on oxygen and the others are at home. Ilsa is very concerned of course for her husband, but also they are struggling because these three men are the main bread winners for their family! We will be taking them some food as soon as possible to help but please join us in prayer that Ricardo is able to recover and return home soon and the rest of them recover without further complications.
After talking with them for a bit, we learned that only one son got a test and the results came back positive but others in the house are also experiencing symptoms. We were able to go to the local health center on their behalf to pick up a kit of vitamins and some medicines that the government is providing to help folks through being infected and to strengthen their immune system.
