Recently, Olga had some great conversations with Angelica that are a witness to her openness to change and grow in her relationship with God.

A few months ago Olga noticed Angelica posting some mildly risque pictures on social media. Instead of judging her for posting them, she was able to have a conversation with her about what motivated her to not only take the pictures but share them. It comes down to struggles with her identity, feeling beautiful and desired, and otherwise being bored at home. Being stuck in the house lately has been difficult for her. Olga’s conversation with Angelica, although difficult, was also one that helped them grow together and has given the opportunity for Olga to share more of what it means to be a follower of Christ and who our true identity comes from!

Jeremias has also been caught between being a kid and being “grown-up”. With some struggles the family had recently with sickness where he was taking care of his mom and being given maybe a little too much autonomy, he isn’t yet mature enough to make some of the decisions he has been making like what he eats and doesn’t eat. We provide the family with nutritional baskets to help supplement their monthly needs but what little money the family has, Jeremias prefers to go out and buy snacks to eat. Additionally, he said he didn’t want to go back to school this year. Eventually, we were able to encourage him into going but we will be keeping a closer eye on his productivity this year (he passed last year!) and also seeing if there are some issues in school with classmates, etc. this year.

Please continue to lift this family up in prayer as they learn more of who they are in Christ and that we would continue to be able to influence them in a positive way.
