We are happy and proud to report that both Dincy and Jairo are moving on to their next stages of education next year!  Jairo finished primary school and will be starting middle school next year.  Dincy finished middle school and will be entering high school, where she has chosen to study nursing.  Please pray that we are able to register her for classes in January as her previous school didn’t have her papers ready in November so we could enroll her.  We hope there are still seats available in the new school next year.

Ilsa has also finished her sewing classes this year and really loved her final course which was about making curtains.  She had to make several designs and was showing us the different kinds of curtains she made for the class.  She has ideas to make more and might take more sewing classes next year.

During his vacation time off from school, Jairo is working in the local market helping a vendor selling fruits and vegetables.  Dincy is staying home and helps take care of her younger nieces and maintain the house with Ilsa.  One of our local missionaries is starting a young women’s bible study with her and she seems really interested in it.  This is a welcomed change as she has previously been resistant to going to church.  We feel the change of environment might be exactly what she needs to grow in her relationship with God.
