We had the pleasure of spending some time with Roselia and her kids! Can you believe how big they are getting? Bidkar Eduardo just turned 1 and little Ana is reaching 3. Anthony enjoyed showing us an armadillo shell that he found, as well as a snapping turtle he found down by the lake.
Brandon didn’t want his picture taken so he hid behind them all Anthony loves finding things out on his adventures and bringing them home Bidkar Eduardo just turned 1!
Roselia continues to sell eggs and Bidkar is trying to make ends meet by driving his car as a taxi. Although, Roselia admitted, he is not a licensed taxi because they don’t have the money for all that is necessary to get registered. This also, however, would draw more attention and he would be forced to pay a “tax” to the gangs. Many more unregistered taxis have emerged as a result of the pandemic because the buses are charging double the usual fare since they aren’t supposed to have as many passengers (although this isn’t as enforced as everyone thinks it should be).
Anthony is taking classes online through the local school, although most of the work is in the form of homework packets that get sent home for him to do. Andre continues to find work and even bought Roselia a cell phone so she doesn’t have to share with Bidkar who uses it to pick up taxi fares.
Please pray for their continued health and that Brandon would stick with school and Bidkar and Roselia are able to maintain steady income through their work!
