We have seen a huge change in Katy and Maty this year, to the point it really has surprised us in a good way.  Maty decided to do her “practice” early, taking advantage of her vacation time.  Each student must log 150 hours of work in the discipline they are studying.  She found work near her home as a graphic designer and is really enjoying the experience.  Next year will be her final year of study (graphic design only requires 2 years).  Continue to pray for her motivation and diligent work ethic!

Katy, on the other hand, has two more years to go but is also excelling.  She passed this year and is enjoying her studies.  We have seen the change this year as she has become more punctual, more responsible, and with better follow through on things we have asked her to do.  Because the school is a little farther away than the other schools we send kids to, we have tasked her with being responsible for making sure the monthly tuition payments are submitted on time as well as being the go-between for us with the school.  We remember that when they started last year, both Katy and Maty would wait until the last minute to tell us about things or not even follow through unless we reminded them repeatedly.  They have really grown and matured this year!

Juanita’s tortilla business continues to progress, but she recently lost a client that was buying about 200 tortillas a day.
