A few weeks ago we sent out a few posts about Apolonia’s stomach infection.  She is doing much better and is completely healed from the infection that she had.  
She has expressed to us that she is so thankful for Servants’ missionaries who are always looking out for her and her family and for the missionary who took her to the hospital that day.  She also shared how thankful she is for the people who care for and support her family because without that she would not have been able to get the medicine she needed for the stomach infection.  She says that everyone from Servants is a blessing from God in her life.

In recent visits with our missionaries the girls have shared with us their most recent grades and sadly they are struggling a bit in school right now. Ana, Apolonia’s youngest daughter, failed 3 classes this bimester because she did not do her homework.  Sylvia, Apolonia’s middle daughter, failed math class because she had 3 different teachers who all taught different ways and she was confused and didn’t understand what they were trying to teach.  Jennifer, Apolonia’s oldest daughter, failed one class. Our missionaries continue to encourage the girls to do well in school, to put in their part, and to let them know when they are struggling so we can find a way to help them.  Please pray for them to do better in their next bimester.  It is very unusual for the girls to fail classes, so we are hoping this was just a one time thing.

The family recently had a new wall built around their outside bathroom.  This was a blessing that came from the July SARF team, and Apolonia is so thankful for it because the old wall and roof were falling in.  It was a great time for the team to get to know the family better and for Apolonia and her girls to see yet another group of servants sharing the love of Jesus with them.
