A few weeks ago we wrote about Jackeline having a kidney infection.  A few days after the visit where we found out about that infection Jackeline sent a message to one of our missionaries saying that the infection was worse and that her doctor wanted her to try some stronger antibiotics.  The problem was that these antibiotics cost about $650 and Jackeline could not afford them…honestly who could afford that much for antibiotics?  The doctor said there was a cheaper antibiotic she could try but that it might not work because they weren’t as strong.  Jackeline decided to try this cheaper antibiotic because at the time it was her only option and she asked us to pray with her that this medicine would work.  She would know in 2 weeks if that medicine worked.  We told her to keep us updated on how she’s doing and that we pray and if the infection wasn’t gone at the end of the 2 weeks we would see how Servants could help with her medicine.

Praise the Lord before the 2 weeks were up and before we even had a chance to share this prayer request with you Jackeline wrote again and said that she had an exam to see how the medication was working and her kidney infection was completely gone.  COMPLETELY GONE with taking the “weaker” antibiotics AND before she was even finished taking all of them…we don’t know about all of you but to us that definitely sounds like a healing from the Lord!

Jackeline is very happy to be feeling better and to not miss more work due to her illness.  She recently went back to work and is happy to be able to do that. Please continue to pray that she would stay healthy and that things would go well at her new job.
