Last week Dayana shared with one of our missionaries that she has been having some health issues recently. For the past 10 weeks she has been having a lot of pain in her body and she hasn’t been able to figure out why. With the epidemic of the Chikungunya virus spreading through Guatemala she first thought that she had the virus but her body pains have not been accompanied by any of the other symptoms of the virus and it has lasted much longer than the normal cycle of Chikungunya. She will be visiting another doctor soon to have some more tests to see if they can figure out the reason for these pains. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors and for total healing from whatever it is that is causing this pain.
The boys are currently suffering from the Chikungunya virus so Dayana would greatly appreciate prayers for quick healing for them so they can get back to school very soon.
Dayana is also still struggling with both of her sons because they have stopped coming to church and have no desire to return or to go to another church. She knows how important it is for them to have Jesus in their lives and this has caused her a great deal of sadness. Please pray that the Lord would touch both Andre and Estuardo’s hearts to come back to church and seek Him and His will for their lives.
On a positive note the boys continue to do well in school and from what Dayana tells us they both should pass their grade this year and move on to the next grade next year. For this we are praising the Lord!
Please also pray for provisions for this family as Dayana has not had steady work this month and she continues to look for a permanent job. She just told us that she needs to get some things situated with her paperwork that allows her to have a steady job so we at Servants are trying to see how we can help her with that. She is talking with the pastor at her church about the possibility of her filling a position that they have open so hopefully that will work out for her.
Thank you for all of your love and support for this family we know that it means a lot to them!
