Aminta and her family have been experiencing some serious health difficulties over the last few months.  You may remember that in our last update we shared about Aminta’s grandson Dilan who had to have surgery.  Thankfully, he is fully recovered and doing well.  However, since Dilan’s surgery Aminta has been struggling on and off with pain in her teeth, Dilan’s dad, Cesar, had an accident where he fell off a bus and broke his shoulder, Aminta’s younger daughter, Jeny, has had issues with low iron and vision problems, and several of the family members have been sick with colds and throat infections.

In addition to these health struggles there have been issues in the marriage of one of Aminta’s sons and both of her sons who were coming to church regularly and growing in their relationship with Jesus have stopped coming to church again.

Through all of these trials Aminta continues to claim the Lord’s goodness, healing, and protection over her family and she continues to inspire our missionaries with her faith and dedication.  She also continues to inspire her 2 daughters-in-law as they have continued attending church despite the fact that their husbands do not.  We are so thankful to Jesus for this amazing faith despite the low times the family has been experiencing.

On a higher note Aminta’s daughters and grandchildren have been doing well in school over the last few months and several of them have even improved some of their grades in their most recent report cards.  We are praising Jesus that the kids are still doing well in school despite all the challenges in the family over the last few months.

Please continue to pray for healing for Aminta and her family.  Please also pray for those in the family who are remaining faithful in their relationship with Jesus to continue to do so and for those who are not to come back to Him.  Finally, please pray for the kids to continue to do well in school and for the Lord to place a hedge of protection around Aminta and her family.

Thank you for your prayers, love and support for this family!
