Karla has graduated and was on the honor roll! We weren’t able to get any pictures as we couldn’t attend her graduation ceremony, but we are so proud of her! Be sure to send her a note congratulating her on her success. The chances for a woman to graduate High School in Guatemala are very slim.

Maribel has not been able to make as much with her tortilla business as the price of corn has increased but customers are unwilling to pay more for tortillas. Neighbors, however, have been trying to help by supplying her with free firewood to help offset the rising cost of materials.

The rest of the family remains in good spirits and health!
