Some of you have asked how Fidel is doing since the miracle we witnessed back in September with the short-term team that went down. He continues to do well! He is getting around as well as his body will let him, but now he can see again, so life has improved!

Additionally, their house no longer floods thanks to the work that the team provided to accomplish. They did not have a side wall for their home. They only had boards holding up their roof, which was butted up against the wall of the house next to them. This caused flooding in their home during the rainy season (which just ended in October). With the help of the September team, we were able to employ a local pastor who is also gifted in construction (which is how he earns a living) and they built a wall on that side of the property which the roof now sits on and prevents the rainwaters from flowing through the house!
