Things seem to be getting better in the Jimenez household. Your prayers are working!

As you know, the situation with Jorge’s alcoholism has been unpredictable. With our help, Carmen has tried to get the authorities involved whenever he gets drunk and violent but the police say that they don’t get involved in domestic matters unless there is a clear sign of abuse or physical injury. Thankfully, Jorge’s alcoholism has been getting better. He has been treating Carmen much better and has even helped fix up her bedroom which he partially disassembled to sell materials for alcohol. Please continue to pray for his ultimate healing and a face-to-face encounter with Jesus!

Brandon and Kevin visit often as they struggle in their relationship with Roselia. They aren’t very prone to listening and she has run out of ideas to discipline them. When they are with Carmen and Jorge, they have a little more liberty and more friends to play with.

This year, Carmen will be starting a bible study with Olga, which will give her a little reprieve from the hardships she endures and help her in her relationship with the Lord, which she strives to strengthen. Pray that the distractions of life don’t deter this process and that overall it helps the whole family in their ongoing struggles.
