Our Indigenous Board
We have worked diligently to establish a board composed of mission-driven, community-minded individuals who reflect the heart and vision of our ministry. Our ultimate goal is to have a board that is 100% indigenous to Guatemala and
the communities we serve. Currently, only two “outsiders” remain on the board. Barb, who co-leads a youth leadership ministry with her husband in Sumpango, Guatemala, called PILAS, brings valuable insight and experience to the team.
Dylan, who along with his wife Missy, launched the ministry in Guatemala in 2013, serves as the board treasurer. Dylan continues to oversee the ministry’s finances to ensure continuity and meet the IRS’s requirements for fiscal responsibility.
Together, this team combines local leadership with experienced guidance to advance the mission effectively and sustainably.
