For quite some time our missionaries have been trying to meet Emilia’s new grandson.  Every time we have visited he has been away from the house with his parents and we have not have to opportunity to see him.  This week, after 7 months of waiting and missed visits, we were able to see this sweet, new life with which the Lord has blessed the Cordero family.

We had a great time visiting with all of the family yesterday and it was an extra special joy to get to see and cuddle with Daniel.  The family shared that he is a very content baby.  He has teeth and has started eating regular food and he loves tortillas and beans!  As you can see from the photo he is adorable and has a full head of hair.  He’s not walking yet but we imagine it won’t be long.

Such a cutie...we couldn't get a smile out of him but at least he let us hold him without crying :)

We joked that one day Daniel and Hannah (the daughter of one of the missionary couples who works with the SARF ministry) can be boyfriend and girlfriend. From the look on Daniel's face I'm not so sure he's crazy about that idea...YET! :)

Emilia also shared with us during this visit that she has been fighting a stomach infection.  She was able to go see the doctor but only had money to buy part of her medication.  Thankfully, due to faithful sponsorships the SARF ministry had money available in the medical fund and some of our missionaries were able to take her to buy the rest of the medicine that she needs.

Please continue to pray for healing for Emilia and for her to find a job so that she can cover the basic needs for herself and her family.  Please also pray for little Daniel to continue to grow well and to know the Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

Thank you for your faithful prayers, love, and support for this family!
