Alejandra ended her first bimester with an overall average of 92% but Jairo continues to struggle.

This year Jackeline enrolled her kids in a different school. The previous school had a psychologist on staff to help kids with learning disabilities and adjustments but due to the pandemic, the school could no longer afford to pay her, and once again Jairo was left to struggle. The tuition was a bit high but because of the added help, we decided it was worth the investment. Last year the school did not bring back the psychologist. He did ok and passed his grades but it was hard for him, especially because of having to learn online. It is difficult for him to stay focused and it is even harder for students to capture the attention of the teacher.
This year, Jackeline decided to enroll the kids in a school we have been taking kids to for the past few years that has a really good curriculum. After this first bimester, his teachers indicated that he needs some help as he appears to have a learning disability. This we have been told before but one way or another it has been SO HARD to get him the help he needs! Olga has been working with Jackeline to schedule him for an appointment with a psychologist to start trying to help him once and for all. Please continue to pray that he gets the help he needs.
