We recently discovered that the company that Jackeline has been working for over the past two months has let her go.  This has been a setback emotionally for her because with her children going to school through the help of Servants and finally having a new job after searching for months, she felt like everything was finally going well after having a tumultuous year in 2013.  Jackeline, however, continues to trust in God’s provision and is working hard to find another job.  Unfortunately, the job market in Guatemala is not reliable and companies can lay people off whenever they want.  Jackeline’s attitude is, “maybe this isn’t the job that God wants me to be in,” so she is pushing forward to see what God has planned next for her and her children.

Jairo needs our continued prayers as the loss of his father is still affecting his attitude and his performance in school.  Collectively we are working on a way to find some counseling to help Jairo deal with this difficulty.  Alejandra continues to do well in school and loves participating in school activities from outings to homework!  Please continue to pray for this family’s protection, development, and provision.KC4_7302
