Great news! Our missionaries were finally able to get in touch with the necessary people to finish the final stages of Maria’s new home so that she could move in. This was completed about 3 weeks ago and we told Maria to let us know when she was ready to move and we would get a team of people together to come help her.

This past week our missionaries went to visit Maria to give her one of the Easter blessing baskets that our team assembled to share with all of our families. During this visit Maria told us that she has almost everything moved into her new home the only thing that still needs to be moved is her tienda (little store). We were shocked because she never called us but she explained that she’s been doing it along with the few members of her family that she has been back in contact with since her sister passed away. She told us that next week they will be moving the rest of the things and she will finally be able to settle into her new home.

We are so happy for her but again encouraged her to contact us when they are going to move the rest of the things so we can help her. She did share with us that one of the things she greatly needs right now is prayer as some of her neighbors have become envious of her new home. They have cursed her and have made other comments that show their jealousy. She asked us to pray and asked if she has any further problems with her neighbors will we help her. We assured her that we would pray, that we would share this prayer request with all of you, and that if there were more troubles we would see what we are able to do to help.

Please continue to pray for this situation and that the rest of the move would go smoothly. Also, pray that Maria would find blessings and peace in her new home.
