Hipolita, Jamilton and Fabiola have been having a rough time lately as Fabiola is the only one in the family who has a job. Jamilton and Hipolita have been working odd jobs occasionally but they are still searching for something permanent. They also are struggling because they were just told that they have to move out of the house where they live. They have been looking for a few weeks and have not been able to find a house that they can afford so please continue to pray for God to find the perfect house for them.

A piece of good news to share is that Fabiola is continuing to get better from the illness that she’s been struggling with the last few months.

We also found out recently that Jamilton is now a father. He has a four-month-old son who we met a few weeks ago when we were visiting with the family. Up until that day he had been telling our missionaries that the mother of the baby was just a friend but Jamilton’s mom Hipolita told us that the baby is his and he finally admitted it. We believe that he was embarrassed to share this with us but we encouraged him and explained that we are there to help however we can as he grows as a father. We also reminded him that the most important responsibility a father has is leading their child in the ways of the Lord. Please continue to pray for Jamilton and Evelyn, the baby’s mom, and Jamilton Junior to follow the Lord and know him in an amazing way. Here is a picture of sweet little Jamilton Junior.
