We shared in October that Jairo has some masses in his neck and that the doctors were in the process of treating him to see if the masses would go away with treatment or if surgery would be necessary.  Sadly, the treatment did not work and the doctors are saying that they will need to do surgery.  Jackeline has asked us to take Jairo to another doctor that we trust to get a second opinion before she agrees to let her son have surgery.  We will be taking him in the next few weeks for a second opinion and we want to ask that you would pray that there is another treatment option available and that Jairo will not need to have surgery.

On a happier note both of the kids passed their year in school despite their struggles at the beginning of the year.  They are excited to start their next year of schooling which will begin this month.

Also, we recently confirmed that Jackeline has a boyfriend!  Some of our missionaries had met him before and thought that he might be Jackeline’s boyfriend but she did not introduce him as such.  The last time we visited them she told us that he is her boyfriend and that they have been together for awhile.  She shared that he and the children get along well.  We are happy to see Jackeline moving forward from the loss of her husband and ask that you would continue to pray for God to lead and guide them in this relationship.

Thank you for your continued prayers, love and support for Jackeline and the kids!
