The Escobar family has been struggling for quite some time to find steady work to support their family.  Currently, Dipolita and Fabiola are both without work and Jamilton is only working occasionally.  Please pray that God would provide all of them with jobs so that they can better care for their family.

Fabiola is also struggling with a lot of health issues and has been for the last several months.  She has gone to see a few different doctors and they have told her there is nothing they can do for her unless the symptoms get worse.  She finally told us during a visit that she’s still struggling with these issues and we were able to take her to see the doctor we use and trust.  The doctor found out that Fabiola has a urinary tract infection, gastritis, ovarian cysts, and Helicobacter pylori, which is a stomach bacteria that can lead to ulcers and possibly cancer if not treated.  She is now currently taking medicine to heal from all of this, but the treatment is not going to be short because she has had these illnesses for so long.  We are so thankful she finally told us so that we could take her to a more trusted doctor.

Many of our families often see doctors and receive horrible healthcare because they cannot afford to pay to go see other doctors, and they need to use the free treatment clinics.  It is only once they finally tell us, or once we are able to get it out of them by asking, that we are then able to take them to a more trusted doctor and get them the correct treatment.

On a more positive note some of our missionaries had an opportunity to talk to the whole family about church during a recent visit.  The family said that they are still not attending a church, and our missionaries had the opportunity to share with them about a church nearby that has a great youth program.  Fabiola seemed interested in this, so they told her if she ever wants to go they will go with her the first time so she doesn’t feel alone.

Please continue to pray for jobs and healing for this family.  Please also pray that they would find a church where they feel comfortable and can grow in their relationship with Jesus.
