The other day one of our missionaries was meeting with Lily and she shared with us that she has been in treatment for rheumatic fever since June of 2014 and it is not getting any better. This treatment is supposed to take a year and right now Lily is 2 months short of that year and her symptoms are not getting any better.

Lily is struggling with a lot of pain in her extremities and fatigue. It took her quite a while to be diagnosed with this because she thought she was just having muscle pains and tiredness and she put off going to the doctor for a while. Her doctor has told her that she may have to continue with another course of treatment if this doesn’t get better.

Please continue to pray for Lily and for her healing. Please pray for God to take away these symptoms that plague her and make it hard for her to concentrate on her studies. Please also pray for her to have the energy she needs to care for her son Jorge, work her job, and continue with her schoolwork.
