Since Oti’s husband passed away, she has been very isolated and angry. However, Olga has continued to call her, visit with her, and pray for her. Recently, we witnessed a change of heart and she was very grateful for our consistency in visiting with her and caring about her.

We have witnessed time and again the importance of continuity of care for people. In our relationship with Jesus Christ and the pursuit of loving others the way He loves us, He transforms and heals the hearts of those who are struggling. This is our mission. This is our ministry as Christians around the world. Since her husband was the main breadwinner, she has also been struggling to get by with her very small retirement check. We have begun to help her with food supplements so that she and her sister have enough to eat.

Since her most recent fall, she has been receiving medicine from social healthcare (because she is retired and has rights to it) and her MRI came out negative, for which she is grateful. Please continue to join us in prayer for Oti as she continues to mourn the loss of her husband and recover from her fall.
