In our last update we shared how Dayana was doing very well in chef school and how she was stepping out in faith and taking on a project to do a cookbook.

Dayana has had the blessing of have several teams to work for these last few months and has not had much time to work on her cookbook.  The work is a huge blessing for her family but we ask that you would also pray that she find the time she needs to finish her cookbook.

For the last few months we have been waiting for one of the families who promised to help Dayana go back to chef school to send the money they committed to sending.  Sadly, they never sent the money and we have been unable to get in touch with them.  Then a few weeks ago one of the families that was sponsoring Dayana to go to chef school wrote and told us that due to financial issues they had to stop giving for right now too.  The person in charge of the finances in our home office decided that we will continue to help her with chef school for a few months and pray that in the interim God will provide more sponsors for this.

We wanted to write to all of you and ask that you be praying with all of us and with Dayana’s family for the Lord to provide for Dayana to continue her schooling.  Also, if there is anyone you know who might want to help a single mother get her education so that she can provide for her family please share with them about Dayana and her family!  As Dayana said when we told her what happened “God will provide I just need to keep trusting in Him and His plan.”
