Recently, Olga, her children, and her husband Elias have had to face some difficult trials.
First, Elias injured his food and was unable to work for several weeks. He has insurance through his job that is supposed to cover his medical bills and pay him part of his salary during any time missed due to health issues. When Elias went for treatment for this injury he found out that his job had not been keeping up with the payments for this insurance and therefore he did not receive any salary during his time off and his medical bills were not covered.
Second, Olga, who regularly experiences headaches, has had an increase in the pain from her headaches and the medicine she normally takes is not longer helping to take away the pain. She went to see the doctor and they gave her new medication but also told her that she will need an neurological exam to see what is causing these headaches. Olga does not have insurance through her job and this exam will cost about $130. Thankfully, through your faithful support of this family Servants is able to help them with the cost of this exam.
Third, the children recently finished their year of schooling and Byron did not pass this year of schooling. The teachers have been evaluating him and feel that he needs help for learning disabilities and that he has some emotional issues that are hindering him in his learning. There will be a meeting soon to figure out how we can best help Byron in his studies in the coming year and how we can help him with the emotional issues that are plaguing him.
Despite these trials Olga has shared that she continues to thank God for the victories they have had in their family. Though it was tight they were able to continue to provide for their family while Elias was off work, Kesler did well in school this year, Beverly only had problems with one class which she will be taking a make up test for in a few days, and they have grown closer and learned to depend more on the Lord through all of these trials.
Please continue to pray for God’s provision for the medical bills, for Olga’s health, for Beverly to pass her test, and for wisdom in how to best help Byron with the struggles he is having.
Olga has shared that she is so happy to know that she has all of us praying for her family and is so grateful for all of the love, encouragement, and support she receives from all of you.
