We just wanted to drop in with a quick update about Katy Perez.  Recently, she sent a message and photo she took with her mom to show she graduated high school!

She studied to be a bilingual secretary and has begun looking for a job.  While she appreciates our offer to help attend college, her current goal is to find a steady job and also improve her English speaking skills.  She thanks all of you for your continued love and support!  We are so proud of her for breaking through the norms of impoverished Guatemalan society.  Being a woman AND a high school graduate is a feat not many people can say they have accomplished!
